Newbury's independent food producers, designer-makers, vintage sellers, collectors and artists are coming together to celebrate the very best of Newbury and Berkshire. In Association with Newbury Bid, we kick-start our events programme at the end of March.

Trade with us if you can offer

Hand-crafted mouth-watering dishes or high quality design-led clothing, collectables, jewellery, homeware & furniture.

Products that use regional resources and seasonal ingredients.

Pitch Information

Pitches are awarded according to quality of product, and to ensure an even range of product type throughout the market. Exact pitch locations are determined after the majority of applications have come in.

A standard pitch is 3m x 3m and traders need to bring their own gazebo and furniture– we only provide the space itself. A limited number of 3 x 4.5m pitches are available at an additional cost. There is no electricity available on the street and generators are not permitted.

Trader Requirements

All traders need to hold a current Public Liability Insurance. Traders wishing to sell food produce or hot food on the day must be registered as a food trader with their local authority and have obtained minimum Level 2 Food Safety in Catering.

To become a platinum trader, book 8 or more events for 2020 and we will allocate you a fixed pitch in your preferred area. Please note that we have a very limited number of platinum pitches available for 2020.

Legal



All traders MUST provide proof of current public liability insurance. Food and drink sellers will be asked to provide relevant licenses or Food Safety certificate

Your application will be assessed and we will contact you if you have been successful. New applications are processed weekly on Fridays. Invoices must be paid 2 weeks before the event date.

If we are unable to accommodate you, we will put you on the waiting list.

Trader Joining Instructions are circulated when all pitches have been allocated and pitch plans are finalised.
